Background:
The ‘Strengthening Gender Responsive Forest Ecosystems Management and Agroforestry in?India’ (GVAN) being implemented in the state of Himachal Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Madhya Pradesh and Uttar Pradesh and “Strengthening regional cooperation and financing for sustainable management of the Sundarbans and restoration of coastal ecosystems in the Bay of Bengal (SUNDAR-BAY) being implemented in the state of West Bengal. The projects are closely collaborating with the Forest Departments of respective states under the MoEFCC and involving various stakeholders relevant to the project's objectives. As part of the project, a series of events, workshops, and trainings will be organized at local (site), state, and national level during the project period. Given the scale, diversity, and technical nature of these events, the project team intends to engage a professional event management firm to undertake event planning, coordination, execution, and post-event deliverables of both the project.
Objectives:
The objective of this assignment is to conceptualize, plan, and execute the series of events including end-to-end event management, and facilitation ensuring high-quality execution.
Tasks of the assignment:
- Provide end-to-end Logistical, managerial, and implementation support for the successful organisation of the event.
- Management of participants, panellists and speakers.
- Event setup, Venue and Technical Management
